Borehole Mining

High Pressure Swivel Built for 10,000 PSI Jetting

This high pressure swivel accommodates high pressure air flow to provide a shroud air stream around the high pressure jet.  This system allows the operator to depressurize a flooded zone at depth and increase net cutting horse power to the rock face.  The system was designed specifically to allow commercial mining of target ore bodies by cutting up to 20 feet in diameter from an 18″ diameter bore hole, 1,000 feet underground.

This swivel has proven highly effective in the mining of coal, kimberlite, uranium and other soft resources.  Flooded air lift of ore back to surface is a proven, effective and economical method for mobilizing bulk ore (coals)  to the surface quickly in an inert (U3O8) and non-damaging (diamond) state.
